With CocaCola, Flexus AG was already able to win a new customer in the field of mobile solutions in 2018: In the following, we would like to give you an insight into how Flexus AG was able to contribute to making the intralogistics of Coca-Cola European Partners Deutschland GmbH (CCEP DE) more efficient with its mobile SAP apps.

Introduction of our client

Coca-Cola European Partners Deutschland GmbH (CCEP DE) is responsible for the production, bottling, sales and distribution of the Coca-Cola brand.  The Coca-Cola Family includes brands such as Vio, Mezzomix and Fanta. In this country, CocaCola has stationed 16 production plants for this purpose. CCEP DE is considered the largest German beverage company.
 
Due to the numerous beverage varieties and a high number of customers, the requirements at the CCEP sites are enormous. For example, it must be ensured that the mixing ratios of the soft drinks are maintained at all times in order to avoid unnecessary cost expenditures. In addition, it must be guaranteed that each bottle/can can be tracked on a batch basis.

Customer requirements

In order to master these challenges even better in the future, CCEP DE was looking for a solution that would provide technical support to the employees and help to avoid errors. In doing so, CCEP DE wanted a scanner-based system that would implement the data (the withdrawals of the ingredients) directly in SAP. The system should also simplify inventory and enable batch tracing.
 
As an additional function, a special solution was also desired that would control the labels, lids and containers on the filling lines.In summary. CCEP DE was looking for a uniform mobile SAP solution!
 

Use of the Flexus Apps at CCEP DE

In its search for the right provider, CCEP DE focused, among other things, on staffing levels so that diverse locations can be supported. In addition, the focus was on detailed SAP Fiori knowledge, a good price-performance ratio and an intelligent solution portfolio.

CCEP DE has meanwhile deployed the mobile FLX SAP Fiori Apps at 13 German production sites.
