Photo documentation for mobile SAP apps

To the Flexus offers belong among other things most different mobile Apps in the SAP environment. These enable you to optimize your complete logistics process beginning with the goods receipt up to the goods issue. To these Apps we offer you different additional functions, which optimize this logistics process still further and facilitate.

One of these additional functions is the photo documentation via App. How this works exactly is explained in the following.

The app uses so-called Business Document Services, which can be integrated into various processes, for example in goods receipt or loading.

The selected app guides logistics staff through their work process. If it makes sense for documentation purposes, your employee can also take photos with his handheld. He doesn't have to interrupt his process because the photo function is integrated directly into the apps.

This photo is now saved with the SAP business document and linked directly. This makes it easier to understand the workflow afterwards and the photos can be assigned directly to the corresponding order.

Your Advantages at a glance

This additional function of our apps offers you numerous advantages: You can use our Flexus Apps in the most different areas. So you can use them for example in the incoming goods department for quality control. In the case of damage a supplier return can be arranged directly.

Also the loading process can be optimized with the Flexus photo function. This helps you insofar that the perfect condition as well as the optimal loading is recorded. In case of doubt you can prove this with the linked photos.

In general the photo documentation increases the transparency of your incoming and outgoing goods. You do not need an additional digital camera. You also save the storage of the photos on an external network drive. Our photo documentation is directly integrated into your SAP system and the photos taken are directly linked to your orders.

Process flow

1. App loading control is opened by your employee
2. The corresponding transport order is selected by scan or manually
3. One or more images can be added to the order with a click
4. The image is stored directly in SAP in the order

Technical background

The Business Document Services module is imported into your SAP system via SAP Transport. Together with our consultants we will determine whether the uploaded documents can be stored directly in your SAP system or whether it makes more sense to store them in a connected document management system.
