FlexYard is a yard management system fully integrated into SAP that digitally maps, controls and automates your yard and ramp processes – from notification to exit.

FlexYard Yard Management cover?
Suppliers can announce registrations and book time slots directly in the system in advance.
In the ramp cockpit, employees can easily monitor and manage ramps and time slots.
Drivers can either register on site at the terminal or in advance in the app itself and thus announce their arrival and go through the necessary registration process (e.g. safety briefing).
Drivers can be called up by an employee directly from the system in the gate cockpit. Either by SMS, pager or display board.
By scanning the documents, drivers can simply operate the barrier themselves.The documents are checked and documented automatically in the background.
By simply connecting a scale, the driver can carry out the weighing of his vehicle independently and under system control.The vehicle’s licence plate number can also be automatically recognised and stored.
Whether hazardous goods or embroidery sample inspection.With FlexYard, inspection processes can be customised.
Not only lorry deliveries can be mapped with FlexYard.Various types of season tickets (e.g. for employees or visitors) can also be managed.

Why FlexYard Yard Management and not SAP™ Yard Management / Yard Logistics?
SAP™ EWM Yard Management covers the basic processes (notification, check-in, gate allocation, check-out), but can also be expanded and customised to a limited extent.
SAP™ Yard Logistics (SAP YL) is a relatively new product and is still under development.The standard primarily covers a specific use case. The system can be expanded and customised through additional developments.
FlexYard Yard Management is modular and can be fully customised without development.This means it can be completely customised to customer processes with little effort.The system is fully integrated into SAP and communicates automatically with relevant SAP™ modules (ERP, EWM, etc.). FlexYard thus combines simplicity with standard.
What sets FlexYard apart from the competition?
The unique selling point of FlexYard is its modularity and the resulting ease with which it can be customised to customer processes.Almost every process and process step can be set and customised without any programming effort – despite complete data management in the SAP™ standard. This is unique on the market.
What size of yard logistics is FlexYard suitable for?
From a turnover of 5-10 trucks per day, the use of FlexYard is worthwhile for customers. Thanks to its modularity and fast standard delivery, FlexYard also covers small forecourts. There are hardly any upper limits. FlexYard can be scaled to almost any size and can map any number of processes of any complexity.
Are there any special system or hardware requirements for FlexYard?
Basically, all you need is a computer and an executable SAP™ system. With these two components you can already use FlexYard. No special SAP™ module (e.g. EWM) is required. However, depending on your requirements, it may make sense to use some components (e.g. self-service terminals).
How long does an introduction take?
Initial delivery takes place just two to three weeks after the start of the project. This means that FlexYard is already running on your system with the standard processes.
The overall project duration then depends on your level of customisation.With a low degree of customisation, the go-live takes place 1-2 months after the start of the project; with a high degree of customisation, a go-live usually takes place 6-8 months after the start of the project.
What costs can I expect?
FlexYard can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively thanks to ready-made templates. This results in a very short amortization period of approx. 3 years.
