SAP Mobile Services is an advanced cloud platform from SAP for developing, configuring and managing mobile applications. This standards-based solution uses the proven SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and is the successor to the SAP Mobile Platform.

SAP Mobile Services vs. SAP Mobile Platform

SAP Mobile Services and SAP Mobile Platform are both platforms from SAP that you can use to develop and manage mobile applications. While Mobile Services is a fast and simple solution in the cloud, the Mobile Platform offers extensive functions for demanding requirements, often in on-premise environments. As SAP announced the end of maintenance for SAP Mobile Platform in 2020, you should switch to SAP Mobile Services in BTP.
