The transport control system (forklift control system) for SAP® supports the use of various vehicles (e.g. forklifts, tugger trains, mobile picking carts, …) and ensures optimal control and utilization of vehicles and routes.

The complete SAP production at Umformtechnik of ZF Friedrichshafen AG is managed and supplied with the required materials via the FlexGuide TLS transport/forklift control system for SAP®. A request dialog (FlexPAD) ensures that the transports are created directly at the machines. On the one hand, this ensures end-to-end machine-to-machine production supply, and on the other hand, it allows work-in-process (“WIP”) inventory to be moved and managed directly in SAP®.
