Route-optimized and transparent – Flensburger Fahrzeugbau GmbH was able to optimize its internal material flow with the FlexGuide transport and forklift control system and now uses it to control all resources such as route trains, employees with mobile devices, internal plant truck traffic and the high-bay warehouse.

Before the introduction of the FlexGuide, material traceability was not given, which led to long search times and, in individual cases, to new orders for items that could not be found. All forklift traffic was controlled “on demand” and coordinated by an external gatekeeper service.

Now, transport orders can be created with just a few clicks on various PCs between incoming and outgoing goods with SAP® and transport orders can be scheduled in a route-optimized manner based on priorities. This reduced empty runs to a minimum.
